For people in the Adelaide Metropolitan, Mount Lofty Ranges, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, Flinders, Mid North, Riverland, Murraylands, Upper South East, Lower South East and parts of the West Coast, North West Pastoral and North East Pastoral districts.

A vigorous front will move over the west of the State during Friday morning then across remaining parts of the State during the day, reaching the eastern border area during the evening. Northerly winds ahead of the front are expected to average 50-70 km/h with peak gusts in excess of 90 km/h. Damaging winds are intially expected to develop over Eyre Peninsula then move eastwards to Kangaroo Island and Yorke Peninsula during the morning, to the Flinders, Mid North and Mount Lofty Ranges around midday, then eastern districts in the afternoon.
Locations which may be affected include Adelaide, Port Lincoln, Whyalla, Mount Gambier, Port Pirie, Clare, Maitland, Murray Bridge, Kingscote, Naracoorte, Roxby Downs and Leigh Creek.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
